Josef is a soil physicist and educator studying jumping worms, soil structure, and sustainable land management. He teaches soil science at UVM and collaborates on worm ecology projects while supporting the lab with infrastructure and equipment. His open-mindedness, curiosity, and collaborative spirit make him a thoughtful and engaged contributor to both research and conversation—always ready to explore new questions.

Research Development Advisor
Scott is an entomologist and agroecologist with expertise in sustainable pest management and participatory research. He contributes project guidance and collaborative support from UVM’s Office of the Vice Predident for Research (OVPR). A thoughtful communicator and big-picture thinker, Scott brings a steady commitment to people, and impact—always focused on what will best serve growers, students, and the broader community.
